RECONCILIATION SERVICE We will have our Lenten Reconciliation Service on Thursday, 23 March at 6:00 p.m. in the Church. Fr. Anthony from Holy Trinity in Bandon will be joining us that evening as well. Please see our bulletin for all the Reconciliation Services on the South Coast.
CHANGE TO WEDNESDAY MASS TIME
Wednesday daily Masses will begin at Noon. There is no change to the daily Mass times for the other days of the week (Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday Masses remain at 8:30 a.m.)
SAINT PATRICK'S DAY AT ST. MONCIA
We will offer Masses at both 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. on St. Patrick's day (17 March). In addition, Confessions will be offered at 5:00 p.m. Immediately following the Mass, we will offer the Stations of the Cross in the Church followed by an Irish simple supper in the Parish Hall. Archbishop Sample has offered a dispensation from the requirement to abstain from meat on St. Patrick's day this year, but Fr. Rick suggests that if you use this dispensation that you add some spiritual practice to your day (come to Mass, pray a rosary, read spiritual works by a Saint, etc.) and not use it as an excuse to party. Irish themed non-meat options will be available at the simple supper for those who still want to abstain.
STATIONS OF THE CROSS, CONFESSIONS, & SIMPLE SUPPERS
The Lenten tradition of Stations of the Cross followed by a Simple Supper will continue. Join us any Friday of Lent at 6:00 p.m. for the Stations, followed immediately by the Simple Supper in the Parish Hall. This will begin the first Friday of Lent on 24 February. In addition, Confessions will be heard starting at 5:30 p.m., just before Stations of the Cross.
